Camping at Furnace Creek was a good
decision for this trip. Furnace Creek Campground is 28 mi south of
Stovepipe Wells,
centrally located within Death Valley National Park (map-s). The camp was
filled with desert-loving
flower-chasers through the weekend, but lots of campsite spaces were
available
